In only its second full week at jazz radio, “Lady of the Island” has already jumped onto the JazzWeek chart, coming in at NUMBER FORTY-SIX!
There are already 30 stations on “Lady of the Island”, an excellent show of support early in the campaign! It often takes cd’s a few weeks to get onto the chart, if at all.
Here’s how the second week came together:
• “Lady of the Island” is #46 on the JazzWeek chart.
• “Lady of the Island” is on 30 JazzWeek stations, picked up 11 new adds at JazzWeek, and is up to 89 spins (an increase of 41 from last report).
• The most-played tracks this week: “Birdlike”, “BeBop Hanna” and “I Got it Bad”.
• Jazzzdog Promotions’ goals for the week ahead: Pick up as many adds and spins as possible, and push “Lady of the Island” into the top 30 at JazzWeek!
